i have heard of bowfishing tournaments around the southeast here. thats cool ur friend took 3rd. i bet he has 1 of those cool bowfishing rigs. ive only used them twice. when i hired the guides nativ bowfishing. i would like to fish lake guntersville & trinity river as a dream trip. i have been bowfishing for a few years now. during the spring mostly though. i have a little v-bottom that we converted to a bowfishing rig. i started out shooting off a local bridge, then just trolled around when the gar was spawning, & now we got some lights, platform, & generator for nighttime. we used our trapping money to buy that equipment & boy was it worth it. how do u bowfish? oh & i learned that i can stalk the creek when the backwater goes down this summer. ive got gar & grentle using this technique.

I just inherited a 70 acre farm in Middle Tennessee, in Alexandria. I LOVE to hunt and fish, especially trout and crappie. I have been fly fishing for 52 years! I have deer, Wild Turkey, Squirrels, rabbits, coon, fox, Muskrat, groundhogs, bobcats, and COYOTE on my land. I've made 50 snares for rabbits and squirrels on my land, and want to learn to trap further. I have even seen MINK, there. I had a 2 acre lake in front of my house full of fish, but it has gone dry and will need to be cleaned, and repaired. I suspect muskrats are the culprits.
